Share links
Upload a video and share one link, with a password, an expiry date, comments and reactions.
Share a link
- Press Share in the Studio and choose ZumCast link.
- Sign in with your email. You get a 6-digit code to type in. Use the email on your licence to get your Pro storage.
- Set the title and who can watch, then tick the box to confirm the upload and press Share.
- The link is copied when the upload finishes.
Link options
- Who can watch: anyone with the link, or only members of a workspace.
- Password: at least 4 characters.
- Expires: after 1 day, 7 days, 30 days or the longest your plan allows.
- Comments, downloads and captions: on or off.
Comments and reactions
Viewers can comment at the moment they’re talking about and react with 👍 ❤️ 😂 🎉 😮 or 👏. See them in the Hub’s Shared links page, where you can also copy, change or delete a link.
More storage
When your 5 GB is nearly full, you can add 50 GB for a year for $9, one time. It doesn’t renew.
Use your own storage
Prefer your own bucket? In Settings › Storage, add any S3-compatible storage (Amazon S3, Cloudflare R2, Backblaze B2 and others). Your keys are kept in the macOS Keychain. Videos are uploaded at 1080p. Without a public address, links are signed and expire after 1 hour, 1 day or 7 days; with one, links last and include a viewer page.
Teams
ZumCast Cloud for teams is an optional add-on with shared workspaces, a shared library and more storage, at $3 per person a month, billed yearly. Create a workspace in Settings › Account, then invite people by email as a Member or Admin, or share an invite code. See ZumCast Cloud for teams.
